The next generation of Ford SYNC debuts in the new all-electric Mustang Mach-E. This new technology uses conversational speech recognition, internet search and machine learning to give smart suggestions, based on your previous journeys.

It’s the smartest version of the infotainment system to date. It identifies who’s driving the car from their connected phone or keyfob and updates to their personal settings. There are over 80 vehicle settings, so every driver is treated to a truly personalised experience.

The system even understands your daily habits. It learns journeys you often make, including daily trips to the gym or collecting the kids from school, giving suggestions on routes and other settings to make getting where you're going stress-free.

Don’t worry if you forget to plan your Mustang Mach-E’s next charge. The next-gen SYNC tells you where and when you can charge next, all backed up with real-time info on the charging station including available pots and prices.

Ford SYNC

Ford SYNC is the cutting-edge infotainment system at the centre of every new Ford car. It’s a touchscreen system that gives you access to the DAB radio, satellite navigation, parking assistance and other systems.

Easy to use pinch-and-zoom gestures make it easier than ever to use the satnav, whilst voice commands give you full control of the car without having to take your hands off the wheel or eyes off the road. Ford SYNC is the main hub of many Ford models.

FordPass

FordPass adds even more functionality to your car, and you can control it through your smartphone! The FordPass Connect Modem links up with the FordPass app to give you control via your device.

You can: start the engine, lock the car, view current mileage, check tyre pressure, check oil condition, view driving reports for a more economical drive, manage Ford Credit Payments and access ‘how-to’ videos in the app. The FordPass Connect Modem acts as an in-car WiFi hotspot for up to 10 devices, keeping everyone inside the car connected wherever you go.

Ford EcoBoost

Advanced technology isn’t only in the cabin. Ford EcoBoost engines are designed to be economical and powerful at the same time. These engines reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions whilst adding extra kick with a turbocharger, with 1.0-litre EcoBoost engines delivering up to 138bhp of power.

The turbo adds power by using exhaust gas to drive the turbine, which spins the air compressor and pumps more air into the engine’s cylinders.

Ford EcoMode 

EcoBoost engines offer amazing mileage, whilst Ford EcoMode trains you to drive more economically! This system keeps an eye on how you drive, including speed, gear changing, braking, to assess how economical a driver you are. This information is shown in an easy to reference display that can be turned off if you’d rather see other info. Pair this with an EcoBoost engine for an amazing fuel economy!
