Keep your satellite navigation up to date to make sure you find the most efficient routes saving both time and money.
If you have a Vauxhall Crossland X, Grandland X, Combo Cargo or Combo Life you are eligible for free sat nav updates. See the guides below for how to update your cars navigation.
To update your Sat Nav you will require a FAT 32/ MBR formatted USB drive with a capacity of 16 GB or more.
How to download:
When your download has been completed, unzip the contents of the file within the USB as the SAT NAV system doesn’t support files that are compressed.
A few things to remember:
Please note: for Combo and Combo Life, the navigation map download is currently a complementary benefit of purchasing a Combo and Combo Life with 4 planned updates per year.
Navigation is not available during update. Please be patient during the installation process.
The process to update the map takes about an hour. Ensure sufficient vehicle battery power is available during map update. You could use a planned trip driving on known roads to perform the update. Only operate the Navigation system if traffic conditions allow safe usage. In the interest of safety, it might be appropriate to stop the vehicle before operating the Navigation system.
Do not remove the USB stick until the update is completed.
Once the update is complete the system will reboot
Owners of the Vauxhall Crossland X and Grandland X benefit from free map updates each quarter for 5 years starting from the vehicle warranty begin date.
