Vauxhall Franchise in Manchester (Eccles) to Close

Services are set to transfer to nearby franchises in Oldham and Middleton following closure of Manchester dealership.

• The Pentagon Vauxhall Franchise at Albert Street, Eccles will close and cease operating on Saturday 29^th February. Nearby Pentagon Vauxhall dealerships in Oldham, Middleton and Rochdale are set to remain open and continue to offer the quality services that customers have come to expect from the Manchester location.

  Pentagon Vauxhall Oldham and Pentagon Vauxhall Rochdale stock the full Vauxhall new car range and approved used vehicles and can service vehicles to manufacturer standards as Vauxhall main dealers. Pentagon Vauxhall Middleton offers new and used commercial vehicles, as well as a full range of aftersales services including MOT, servicing and a PAS125/BS10125 British Standard accredited  Bodyshop & Accident Repair Centre. The Middleton site is located just off junction 21 of the M60 and two minutes from the Middleton junction on theB6393 near the Lees Brewery. Pentagon Rochdale can be found close to the Rochdale town centre on the A664, whilst the Oldham dealership is close to the Oldham Athletic Football Club just off the A627(M).

  Customers can rest assured that they can visit any other Vauxhall dealership in the UK with any future warranty issues that may arise with their vehicles.

  The closure of the Manchester Eccles dealership was initially announced in July of 2018 following the decision made by Vauxhall to reduce the number of dealerships in their network. At the time Pentagon Managing Director, David Lewis, commented, “We are naturally saddened to lose the Vauxhall business in Eccles, but understand that the brand has a vision to revise its future distribution strategy whilst remaining the second biggest brand in the UK.”
