Your electric car battery is an extremely important part of your car, so it makes sense for it to be covered. Kia’s electric car battery warranty covers it:

• For 7 years or 100,000 miles from the date of registration
• Where repairs are needed to restore it to at least 70% of its original capacity (65% for cars received after 01/08/19)

You can schedule charging times so your battery is at your chosen level before you set off. This is best practice as it gets your battery to its optimal temperature before driving off. You can also stop and start charging remotely whenever you want.
