We've launched a £250 'New Vehicle Payment' in response to rising electricity and petrol prices, as well as other everyday living expenditures. We think that deducting this sum from the lease price would allow clients to get the most out of their future car or Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV).
We've established a £100 'New Product Payment' for scooter and powered wheelchair clients.
Customers who join the Scheme for the first time in 2022 will get the 'New Vehicle Payment' when they acquire their new vehicle or WAV. This means you'll be eligible if you take delivery of your first vehicle in 2022 or make an order in 2022.
Anyone who was a client on December 31, 2021 will be eligible for the payment when they receive their next vehicle, whenever that may be.
Customers that receive the £100 'New Product Payment' will have the same ordering and delivery timeframe as scooter and powered wheelchair customers.
This payment will be made immediately after you receive your new vehicle, WAV, scooter, or powered wheelchair.
The money is only accessible once per client, and bank transfer is the quickest way to get it.
In your Motability Scheme online account, you can choose bank transfer as your preferred payment method. Payment will be done via bank transfer within a few days after receiving your new car or merchandise. The alternative is to pay by check, which may take a few weeks to arrive.
Yes, you will be eligible for this reimbursement if you placed an order last year and are still waiting for it to be delivered. You will get paid within a few days of receiving your new car or merchandise.
Yes. Customers who have already received a car or goods this year will shortly begin to receive this payment. If you have a Motability Scheme online account and have changed your payment option to bank transfer, we will make this payment to you by February 4, 2022; however, please note that the money may take up to five days to reach your bank account. We will issue checks to the remaining consumers after this date, which will take two weeks to arrive. Customers will begin receiving this payment automatically on February 1st, when the car or merchandise is delivered.
You will not receive this payment until you come to collect your next car, WAV, scooter, or powered wheelchair at the end of your current lease if you took possession of your vehicle or product before the end of 2021. If you were a customer on the Scheme as of December 31, 2021, you will still be eligible for this payment even if you do not collect your next vehicle or product for a number of years.
No, this payment is distinct from the Good Condition Bonus or End of Contract Bonus for scooter and powered wheelchair clients, nor will it influence the amount you get.
Please make sure you've adjusted your payment preference in your Motability Scheme online account to receive your payment via bank transfer.
Log in or make an account, then proceed to the 'Personal details' section to enter your bank account information and select bank transfer as your payment method. We'll then make this payment, as well as any other payments due to you during your lease, via bank transfer rather than check.
Please be assured that we will only use your bank credentials to process payments or reimbursements to you, and that once you save them in your account, they will be encrypted and stored securely.
If you've already switched to bank transfer, please double-check that your information is still valid before returning your vehicle or merchandise. If these have changed, you may quickly update them in your online account.
