The new websites – one for each of the franchises they represent plus one for the group - have been designed to give users access to a host of additional services.
New features include a car and van parts quotation system, a new online service booking function and a new accident repair feature that allows customers to upload photographs of their vehicle damage and get a quote. Other features include improved HD enabled independent car video reviews (courtesy of caranddriving.com) and an enhanced fuel saving calculator on new and used vehicles.
Pentagon have also integrated Judge Service customer experience reviews into most areas of the website and now have over 1000 independent customer testimonials linked to their Sales and Aftersales pages.
Group Marketing Director James Reeve said: "We wanted to develop our online strategy whilst making sure we retained the individual brand identity of the franchises we represent, so we built an online system from scratch that allows us to do just that.
This, combined with a fresh new look and the improved functionality means that when customers visit www.pentagon-group.co.uk the site now offers them a vastly improved online experience when buying, servicing or maintaining their car or van”.
The group again chose 21st Century Internet to create the new websites.
Julian Potter, Creative Director at 21st Century Internet said: “Working closely with the team at Pentagon has once again been an absolute pleasure, the end result being a complete re-build and re-design along with a whole host of new features to enhance Pentagon’s online presence. The Pentagon site is one we are extremely proud of and look forward to developing it further in the New Year.”
Additional features that will be added in early 2013 include a payment search facility, tyre search feature and an automated voucher system.
Pentagon has grown to now represent 9 different new car and van franchises including Vauxhall, Chevrolet, Citroen, Peugeot, SEAT, Nissan, Chrysler, Jeep and Fiat and the Group now operates 23 franchise points across the Midlands, Yorkshire and the North West.
