Deposit

• This is deducted from the price of the van.

Optional Final Payment

• This is also deducted from the price of the van and is due at the end of the agreement if you wish to retain ownership. It is the anticipated future value of the van assuming the mileage and condition is as agreed at the start of the agreement.

Monthly Payments

• Calculated by deducting the Deposit and Optional Final Payment from the price of the van. The remaining balance, plus any interest and fees, is then split equally over the agreed length of the contract.

Where Do I Start?

Once you have chosen the van you want to buy, you will need to make a few decisions about;

• Agreement length - choose from 24, 36, or 48 months
• Annual mileage - how many miles you anticipate you will drive per year
• Deposit - the amount of deposit to put down up to a maximum of 35%

VAT registered commercial vehicle customers will be required to pay the full VAT amount with the deposit.

What Happens at the End?

You have three options at the end of the agreement;

• Renew - choose another Ford Commercial Vehicle; you can trade in your old van or sell it privately, once you've settled the account any extra money can be used as your next deposit.
• Return - hand the van back; if you have made all the monthly payments, the van is in the agreed condition and has not exceeded the agreed mileage, there will be nothing further to pay.
• Retain - keep the van; once you've made all the monthly payments, if you decide to keep the van you just need to pay the Optional Final Payment, plus the purchase fee, and the van is yours to drive away.
