With the Geneva Motor Show quickly approaching, car manufacturers are slowly beginning to release teasers of their upcoming cars. This week it seems that Vauxhall is ready to unveil its ADAM ROCKS concept, an urban mini-crossover unlike any other.
Promising a new design and exciting gadgets, some have already predicted that it could open a new segment in the motoring industry, ultimately becoming one of the hottest cars of the years.
Vauxhall has indicated that the ROCKS model will build on the already popular Adam model, improving it on many fronts. It will be taller, wider, and tougher while still maintaining its compact appearance. Reports indicate that it will be the first car to demonstrate ‘parkour-like’ qualities, crossing any terrain in style.
The ADAM has caught the attention of enthusiasts all around the world due to its large number of customizable features. Spokespeople have indicated that the car is offered in a million combinations of design possibilities both inside and out, allowing the user to translate their vision of the ideal car onto a screen and than into reality. Much like the revolutionary Adam, the Rocks model promises to continue the traditions set in the past, building and exploring new avenues.
Malcolm War, Vauxhall’s Lead Design Director, said: “With even bolder design than any other Adam, the Rocks shows the vast potential for personalisation our stylish urban-chic newcomer offers. It combines the toughness of a crossover with the coolness of open air driving.”
Those interested in seeing the ADAM ROCKS concept for themselves should go to the Opel/Vauxhall stand in Hall 2 of the Geneva show. The Vauxhall Adam is available to test drive at Pentagon dealerships now.
