Vauxhall has long been known for creating powerful and practical cars. Each new model appears to offer something different, giving drivers everything they’ve ever desired. Adding to this exciting line-up, Vauxhall has recently announced the brand new VXR8 Tourer.
The car is officially part of the VXR8 range, which includes an assortment of vehicles ranging form the saloon to the Maloo pickup. Because of this, it comes with the same 6.2 litre powertrain found in both its relatives, giving it an amazing 0-60mph time of 4.9 seconds and a 155mph top speed.
While all of this might be impressive, the Tourer perhaps shines brightest when it comes to capacity. With a massive 895-litre cargo volume (that can be increased to 2,000 litres when the rear seats are folded down) the new VXR8 Tourer is easily the most spacious load-luger in its class. So if you’re looking to transport anything substantial quickly, this is clearly the car for you!.
The car costs around £49,500 and, like all other Vauxhalls, the new VXR8 Tourer comes with a Lifetime Warranty that provides drivers with a good safety net up to a maximum range of 100,000 miles.
