The boys side from Sheffield are one of many teams to have benefitted from the Vauxhall Youth Programme.
Their local Vauxhall dealership, Pentagon Sheffield, signed up to the initiative and pledged their support to grass roots football in the area.
Former Birmingham City and England legend Trevor Francis delivered a brand new sponsored kit to the boys team at the end of 2012.
Four months on and Hallam Rangers stormed up the table in the latter parts of the season to a third placed finish and secured promotion on goal difference!
Just two goals separated 3rd and 4th place with a final day 1-0 victory proving enough to gain promotion to the B Division of The Rosehill Press Sheffield & District Junior Sunday League.
The side kept the most clean sheets in the division and conceded the least amount of goals but they also had joy at the other end of the pitch. Striker Benjamin Lowe netted 37 times, the second highest return in the league and just five goals short of topping the goal-scoring charts.
Hallam Rangers Coach, Daniel Lowe said “We have developed as a team so well this year and had many compliments on our kit from our opposition".
Both Pentagon and Vauxhall would like to wish Hallam Rangers U11's an enjoyable summer and successful campaign in the B Division next season.
