Use the hybrid switch to go from hybrid to electric mode whenever you want, providing that the battery is charged enough.

This means you can make the most of zero-emission driving when passing through towns and cities.

After starting up in electric mode, you can drive without the engine up to speeds between 43mph and 80mph. The engine will kick in if extra power is needed, or if the battery is low.
