Peugeot Partner Named International Van of the Year

The all-new Peugeot Partner has been given the prestigious International Van of the Year Award ahead of the official launch.

• The all-new Peugeot Partner has become the fifth Peugeot van to be elected International Van of the Year since the creation of the award in 1992. A jury of 25 independent journalists and light commercial vehicle specialists got an advanced preview of the van and voted it the 2019 Van of the Year. The panel highlighted the two major technology innovations on the all-new Partner as reasons for giving the award to the van. The Surround Rear Vision uses two cameras to provide enhanced visibility and give a clear view of the passenger-side blind spot. The second new piece of tech is the Overload Indicator. This allows for the safe loading of the van without the worry of exceeding maximum payload weights. The indicator can also inform the driver if the maximum laden weight has been exceeded over either the front or rear axle, not just the total payload weight.

  The all-new Peugeot Partner will be released in January 2019 and brings a host of cosmetic upgrades; including an updated radiator grille with chrome Peugeot Lion. The Peugeot i-Cockpit makes its debut in the commercial vehicle market after proving incredibly popular in Peugeots saloons and SUVs, giving drivers a heads-up display and integrated steering wheel controls in an intelligently designed package. There will be two versions of the all-new Partner available to suit whatever needs you might have. The Peugeot Partner Asphalt is aimed at high mileage drivers and gives enhanced soundproofing and comfort behind the wheel; whereas the Partner Grip is geared towards those that need to drive off-road or on building sites with increased ground clearance and Advanced Grip Control.
  With a Multi-flex seat, the L1 Partner has a usable load length of up 3.09 and volume up to 3.8m³. The long-wheelbase L2 increases this to a usable load length up to 3.44m and volume up to 4.4³ with the Multi-flex seat.
