Few car companies compare with Nissan. The Japanese car giant has been making great vehicles for decades, with each new creation an improvement on an already successful formula. In an attempt to display the progress the company has made so far, Nissan staged a unique live event to promote its cars in the small car segment.
The stars of the show in Bratislava were b-segment cars that combine bold design with trademark Nissan technology and innovation. At the heart of this is the all-new Note, which introduces breakthrough technologies and exceptional practicality to the sector. Designed and engineered for the European market, the car brings premium features to the small car market, including their all-new ‘Nissan Safety Shield’ option (which links three safety systems to create a comprehensive protection and driver assistance package) and the advanced around view monitor which gives a 360 bird's eye view when parking.
Joining this top team of small cars is the exciting Micra. With a history stretching over 30 years and car sales reaching over six million units, the Micra is one of the most recognisable and popular cars ever produced by Nissan. The new vehicle comes with substantial updates to its design and engineering like a bold new front and rear end and a completely revamped cabin. And as if this wasn’t enough, the vehicle now also comes with the company’s latest Connect navigation and communication system.
Last on the stellar list of compact vehicles is the Juke SUV. Developed in partnership with Renault, the new Juke's diesel engine features a Stop/Start idle system as standard, a significant increase in torque, lower Co2 emissions from just 109g/km and a 12.5% improvement in fuel economy. This compelling package means the Juke SUV is a car that really stands out from the rest.
Sales of Nissan's new Note will start at Pentagon in the autumn, while the new Micra will be available later in the summer. The latest Juke 1.5dCi is available to test drive and order now.
