Fiat has strengthened their popular 2014 500L by introducing the Beats Edition™ vehicle, a collaborative effort between the Italian manufacturer and the popular audio brand Beats by Dr. Dre.
FIAT 500L Beats Edition™ blends cutting-edge technology that comes with the cool, urban look of the Beats technology. The vehicle delivers eye-catching, grey/black colour scheme, that is offered in gloss and matte finishes. Moreover, the vehicle comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, arch extensions, side skirts, as well as mirror fairing and front whiskers and tailgate handle in satin chrome.
The inside of the vehicle has also received a substantial refurbishing, now coming with enhanced automatic dual-zone climate control, matte-grey dashboard panel, as well as the Total Black interior pack which includes special black fabric/eco-leather seat upholstery.
The cars crowning glory is its premium Beats audio system, Dr. Dre’s rich, immersive, listening technology. With a total output of 520W through an extensive eight-channel DSP-equipped amplifier, the seven-speaker system employs an almost identical sound spectrum to that found in studio recordings.
Legendary artist and producer Dr. Dre, along with Interscope Geffen A7M Records chairman Jimmy Iovine, created the system. They worked side by side with FIAT engineers to develop the best synergies with the 500L model, resulting in an incredible listening experience that is comparable with their up-market headphones.
The Beats Edition™ car will come in two petrol varieties, coming with a new 120bhp 1.4 T-Jet and the 105bhp 0.9 TwinAir Turbo, as well as two turbo-diesel power plants, the 105bhp 1.6 MultiJet II and new 120bhp 1.6 MultiJet II.
