Jeep was founded in 1941 with the core aim of providing the US army with vehicles that could safely navigate across a variety of terrains during World War 2. After the war ended they decided to introduce these vehicles to the commercial market and as a result instantly created what we now call the SUV market. 75 years later, SUVs and 4x4s are an incredibly popular choice for a wide variety of customers.
