November 2020 COVID-19 Update
Following on from the Government announcement on Saturday 31st October, Pentagon Motor Group would like to clarify what services will remain open to our customers throughout the second National Lockdown.
The Lockdown will begin on Thursday 5th November and until this time all of our departments will remain open as usual and continue to operate in a COVID-secure way; all of our COVID-barrier measures will remain in place. Details of our COVID-secure procedures can be found here.
After Thursday the 5th, our new & used car and van showrooms will remain open for Click & Collect and are able to offer sales functionality remotely. We are able to offer remote product demonstrations to show you around the vehicles and answer your questions through live video calls, telephone calls, live chat or through emails. Vehicle handovers can be done in a contactless manner to ensure safety for all involved, this can either be done outside at one of our dealerships or delivery to your home address can be arranged.
Our aftersales departments will remain fully open, operating as they have done with COVID-barrier measures to ensure that sites are safe for our customers and employees. It is vital that during the Lockdown keyworkers, emergency services and others who require essential travel are able to keep their vehicles on the road. We are very proud of our dealership teams who will play their part to keep the nation moving, as they did during the first Lockdown.
Should your vehicle require an MOT or service during the Lockdown period, our aftersales departments remain fully operational and can complete this work for you. During the first Lockdown, MOTs that were due to be completed were automatically extended by the Government. MOTs have not been extended again so please be aware you must not let your MOT expire if you wish to use your vehicle. If an extension is granted, we would communicate this to our customers as quickly as possible.
